Question: Analysis the Factors Influencing Efficiency in the Production Line In Cadbury In London. Answer: Introduction Conducting research on a particular aspect helps in determining the various challenges faced by the company. It is necessary that a company should indulge in a research which could help it in determining its progress and could help it in determining all the aspects of the market (Castellanos, et. al., 2017). Time is changing and so the requirements of the people available in the market are changing. In this situation, it has become important to evaluate the changing market so that company could develop the strategy so as to manage its work process and could sustain in the market. Hence, a research is being conducted by the researcher so as to gather the information related to the problems faced by Cadbury and to evaluate the reason behind the downfall of its sale. With the help of secondary sources of information, a research will be conducted which will help in determining all the aspects of the company (Parmenter, 2014). Purpose of the Research Purpose of the research is to evaluate a proper set of information in relation to the sale of the company. In depth information related to all the aspects of the company will be gained in this research. This research will also help in evaluating the critical thinking skills that a researcher has. Objectives of the research The researcher has developed a certain set of objectives in relation to the research conducted. It is required that a proper set of information should be gathered and objectives of the research should get fulfilled (Kardes, Cronley, 2014). Fulfilling the objectives of the research will help in maintaining the authenticity of the research and will help in providing a set direction to the company which will help in decision-making aspects of the company. Hence, a certain set of objectives evaluated by the researcher are: To identify and evaluate the factors hindering in the process of production in Cadbury. To identify and evaluate that whether introducing a conveyor belt will help Cadbury in managing its production To identify and evaluate that how the market survey will help in managing the production and will help in evaluating a number of products required to be produced by Cadbury so as to fulfill the demand of the customers (Castellanos, et. al., 2017). Research Questions What are the factors which are affecting the process of production of Cadbury? Which technique could be adopted by Cadbury so as to manage its Production? What are the aspects which could be adopted so as to gain the information related to demand of the people available in the market? Statement of Problem Cadbury is a well-known chocolate manufacturing company in the UK, which produces a variety of chocolate products. It is being evaluated that Cadbury was facing issues with managing its production and was failing to fulfill the demand of the market. Hence, a research is being conducted which will help in identifying the reason behind the problem and will help in providing a better set of solution to Cadbury. This will help the company in sustaining and will help in managing production in an effective way (Methven, 2014). Literature Review Cadbury is a British Multinational Confectionary company which is fully owned by Mondelez International. Cadbury is a second largest confectionary in the world after Wrigleys which is being operated in more than 50 countries worldwide. Cadbury is famous for its Dairy Milk Chocolates, crme egg and Rose's selection box and also provide a wide range of products in the market. Cadbury is a confectionery giant which is dealing in various countries and is providing its products and services to the customers available in the market (Chen, Chen, 2014). Details of Cadbury Manufacturing unit: Activities Numbers Production Cost $0.19 Number of Outputs Produced 64,800 bars per hour Number of Employees 71,657 Labour Cost $20 million Sales Volume $7.26 Billion Net Profit 2.97 billion (Davies, 2011) Reviewing the literature it was evaluated that Cadbury was facing issues with its production unit as it was failing to fulfil the demand and requirement of the people available in the market. Bulk manufacturing was required to make sure that demand of the market could get fulfilled. Increasing demand for the products of Cadbury was causing issues for the growth of the company. It was analyzed that failing to avail the products in the market was affecting its image and its competitors like Nestle were taking over the position (Fedorko, Ivan?o, 2012). In this case, it has become important for Cadbury to gather an appropriate set of information related to the market demand and to develop the strategy with the effect of which it could fulfil the demand in an appropriate and effective way. Understanding the market and evaluating the internal aspects related with Production Company found that conveyor belt is one a weakness of the company. It was evaluated that hindrance in the production was created due to conveyor belts as it was failing to produce bulk quantity of the chocolates. Due to this reason the only company was also failing to fulfil the requirements of the market (Zinkhan, 2015). The conveyor belt a huge band rolled on a table used to transfer the finished product or unfished material from one place to another on the assembly line. Cadbury was having a conveyor belt in the assembly line which was used to transfer its manufactured or the products which are under processing from one place to another. But the problem was that the company was not having a proper length of that belt which could help in manufacturing the bulk production. In this case it as required that the company should work towards to purchase a conveyor belt which should be of an effective length (Calisir, 2013). This will help Cadbury in manufacturing more chocolates and will help the same in managing the products and services and demands of the market. Market research is one of the most important aspects attached with the companies, in this situation it is required that the company should develop its focus towards to gather a proper set of information related to the market (Parmenter, 2014). A market survey is the most important aspects attached with any company. Manufacturing is one of the most difficult tasks for the companies to manage, it is required that the company should develop the focus towards to indulge in the market research with the effect of which proper set of information could be gained (Kardes, Cronley, 2014). Understanding the needs and wants of the customers and analyzing the trends in the market will help the company in making an effective set decision of what to produce and how much to produce? Searching the answer of these two questions will help the researcher in making the appropriate decision for manufacturing the products and services and maintaining the productivity (Gray, 2012). Cadbury is the company which is indulged in the business of manufacturing perishable goods and services in this situation it becomes important that the company should produce the fixed amount of products and services. Setting the limits and determining the actual market requirements will help the companies in determining the amount which is required to be produced. Hence, gaining information from the people available in the market and determining their needs and wants in the present scenario will help Cadbury in developing a more effective strategy for the production of the products and services (McLeod, 2013). Market research will also help in determining the length of the conveyor belt which should be used by the company so as to manage the production of the products for the market. It could be evaluated that market research is one of the most effective ways with the effect of which a company could evaluate all the aspects which could help it in determining what to produce and how to produce (Bruhn, 2014). The project management team of Cadbury should remain indulged in some or the other practices which are innovative and effective. Understanding the market requirements and adopting new technology is one of the most important aspects which should be focused upon by the research and development team of the company (Castellanos, et. al., 2017). Developing an application which could help in surveying the market will help in decision-making. It could be evaluated that people preferr to provide more responses on the online websites rather than giving the responses on offline. This will help Cadbury in gaining an appropriate set of information regarding all the aspects and will help it in determining the information related to the market and will help in determining what to produce and how much to produce (Methven, 2014). Gathering information from various secondary sources of information it could be concluded information could be gathered with the help of market research. Working on technologies and applying them in the workplace will help the organisations in making a proper set of decision regarding manufacturing process. It is necessary that the products and services should be produced in a manner which could help in fulfilling the requirements of people available in the market (Su, 2014). In the case of Cadbury, one of the most important aspects which are required to be focused upon is conveyor belt which will help it in managing the production and will help in providing a better set of services to the people available in the market. Hence, it is required that it should be applied at the work with the effect of which company could produce an effective number of the products and services and could deliver the same in the market. The survey is another aspect which will help Cadbury in managing the requirements and managing the production of the company (Sundbo, 2008). Project Plan (Chen, Chen, 2014) The above project plan developed will help the researcher in working in an appropriate way. A step by step process is being delivered in the research project description. It is being evaluated that following the research plan in a proper way will provide a better opportunity for the growth (Davies, 2011). It will help in delivering all the project requirements and will provide a better path with the effect of which research will get completed in an effective way. It is required that the plan should be followed according to the dates and time and each activity should get completed within the required time. Starting the work on according to the start date and completing it till the end will help in managing the research project and will help in managing the quality. In the further research scope of both primary as well as secondary sources are available with the effect of which better and effective set of information will be provided to the organisations. Such type of aspects helps in delivering a set path to reduce the risk of uncertainties and managing the work according to the requirements (Fedorko, Ivan?o, 2012) References Bruhn, M. Z. (2014).
